Fish soup is a meal that the fishermen at the islands usually cook with the small fish that they cannot sell. It is a meal that can be eaten all year. You can use a only one big fish, or crabs, or other seafood for extra flavor.
Directions
Clean the fish, and put them in a cheese cloth and tie. Put the cheese cloth in a saucepan with 1 ½ liter water, add the allspice, salt and pepper and cook for 20 minutes. Strain the broth and keep them. Put out the fish from the cheese cloth and place on platter. In another pan put the olive oil with the potatoes, the carrots and the onions, stir once, add the wine, then the celery, the fish broth, salt and pepper and cook for 30 minutes. Serve the soup with fish and the lemon juice.

1 pound small fish (choose anything you like), 4 medium potatoes, peeled, 2 carrots, sliced 2 sprigs celery, 4 grains allspice, 2 onions, sliced, 8 tsp. olive oil, juice of 2 lemons, 1 cup white wine, salt, freshly ground pepper
